We may still be rocking flip flops and tank tops over here in the 85 degree heat, but we’re dreaming of fall weather. Crisp, cool air, changing leaves, and a chance to stop sweating. A girl can dream, right?
Since most boots are made of leather, a good vegan pair is hard to find. Luckily, stores like DSW, Old Navy, and Target offer a variety of styles that are cruelty-free. (DSW is our #1 favorite for quality + style.) Not sure if your shoes are vegan or not? In the description, check and see if it says “faux suede/leather” or “all man-made materials”. Double check that the insole is also man-made, since many shoes that are otherwise vegan will have a leather insole. (Sigh.)
If that sounds like a lot of work, it is! But that’s why you have us. We’ve rounded up our favorites (many are a part of Ensley’s fall capsule) for the season, all with the Rebelle Kitchen stamp of approval.
From top left:
01 | Western ankle bootie | Just add white jeans and a tank top. Yes please!
02 | Flat ankle bootie | The grey has us swooning.
03 | Short cowboy boot | These are so cute we can barely stand it! (Ensley obviously has a thing for short, Western-style booties.)
04 | Desert wedge bootie | We love the look of a desert wedge but they’re ALWAYS suede. Not only are these vegan, but they have memory foam in the sole to make them extra-comfy. Win-win, people.
05 | Slit ankle bootie | One of our more glam options, these would look great with some skinny jeans for a date night.
06 | Combat boots | These are an ode to Kendra, who can rock a combat boot like nobody’s business.
06 | OTK Faux suede boots | similar | So chic, so stylish, and two different price points!
07 | Cowboy boots | Not Kendra’s fave, but Ensley loves her pair.
08 | Riding boots | Most faux leather riding boots look very cheap, but these are beautiful, sleek, and sophisticated. Love, love, LOVE them!
