Hi from Charleston! I’m on day 4 of my month-long yoga teacher training, and so far it’s been amazing. Intense, but amazing. I can already feel my mind getting stronger and my mind getting calmer. It helps that I have zero responsibilities or distractions, so my only to-do everyday is to pay attention, nourish my body, and get good sleep. Yesterday I drank a gallon of alkaline water throughout the day and it’s honestly probably what kept me going. Anyways, onto the clothes!
These scalloped shorts have been one of my MVPs in this capsule wardrobe, and I generally don’t wear shorts. Sometimes it just feels too hot for white jeans, and these still give that crisp, summery look. I bought this ruffled shirt years ago at the Lilly After Party sale and have loved it ever since. I mean, ruffles + seersucker? Yes please. This outfit is preppy to the max and I’m not sorry about it. If anyone wants to invite me on their yacht, I’ll bring the Chardonnay.
STYLE TIPS:
Earrings. A pair of (faux!) pearls keeps it casual, but my hot pink tassel earrings would also provide a great pop against the blue.
Flats are where it’s at. Let’s not get crazy: this outfit is casual. Save the wedges for a dressier occasion and treat yo’ self to more comfortable shoes.
Delicate bracelets help to emphasize the sweetness of this look. I’m loving these and these .
